Operations coordinator (hybrid)

The Summer Singers (TSS) is seeking a part-time Operations Coordinator. This position’s primary responsibilities include coordinating summer rehearsals and concerts as well as assisting with social media accounts and donor management. The Operations Coordinator reports to the TSS Board and attends Board Meetings. Because the choir's performance season is focused in the summer, hours needed will fluctuate with demand but would average 1-3 hours per week. Some evening/weekend hours are expected to attend meetings; while the majority of the work is remote, in-person attendance to some meetings and concerts is required. The position is primarily focused on operational management that may at times include assistance with marketing and donor administration. This role is expected to expand in future years in alignment with future organizational growth.

Responsibilities may include

  • Acting as primary contact to venues for performances and events

  • Maintaining organizational documentation

  • Communicating announcements to performers throughout the performance season

  • Managing rehearsal and concert calendar, locations and other pertinent information

  • Monitoring social media accounts

  • Distributing donation acknowledgements

  • Assisting treasurer with data entry in donor database


The applicant should have following skills or experiences

  • 1-3 years administrative experience, nonprofit preferred

  • Independent, self-directed

  • Familiarity with donor management tools (e.g. Little Green Light, Givebutter)

  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms (e.g. MailChimp, Constant Contact)

Annual Salary: $5,000
